KARACHI: Sindh Minister for prisons and anti-corruption, Manzoor Wasan said Monday that outlawed organizations had threatened to carry out attacks on jails in the province.

Wasan spoke to the media following a meeting to evaluate anti-corruption cases. The provincial minister said the federal government was responsible for holding dialogue with the Taliban. He added that the offer to hold dialogue by the Taliban was an attempt to gain more time.

According to Wasan, Rangers, police and other security agencies were being targeted. He further said that all corruption cases would be processed without any discrimination.
