Professor Azhar Zaidi among four killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: At least four people including Professor Azhar Ali Zaidi were killed in separate incidents of firing in Karachi, Geo News reported.

Police said Professor Azhar was killed while his wife injured as gunmen opened fire on their vehicle near Aysha Manzil.

In separate incident, a police official, identified as Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Manzoor was shot dead in Gulshan-e-Bihar in Orangi. He was deployed at SP office North Nazimabad.

Two more people were killed in New Karachi and Quaidabad area.

Meanwhile, six people including a woman sustained injuries in incidents of firing in Sher Shah, Liaquatabad and Aysha Manzil.
