PM Nawaz directs Ch. Nisar to reach Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to reach Karachi immediately and review security operation in the port city, Geo News reported.

PM Nawaz has also sought a detailed report on Karachi operation.

Nawaz issued these directives after telephonic contact with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan on Tuesday.

Sources said the Prime Minister and Sindh Governor exchanged views on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s reservations and ongoing Karachi operation.
