Lahore: Four kidnappers killed in alleged encounter

LAHORE: Four kidnappers were killed in an alleged police encounter in the Township area of the city on Thursday.

According to CIA police, a kidnapper opened fire on the police team when they were moving to arrest him after catching three of his companions.

Police claimed all four accused were killed as a result of retaliatory fire.

The accused were involved in kidnappings for ransom, police added.
