‘Govt committee waiting for Taliban ceasefire announcement’

ISLAMABAD: The government committee is waiting not only for Taliban announcement of a ceasefire but the TTP will also have to give an assurance to abide by their announcement, said Irfan Siddiqui.

Speaking to Geo News on Saturday, he said that the committee would appeal to the government for a ceasefire as well after the Taliban announcement.

He further added that the government committee was ready to go anywhere for talks after the Taliban announced ceasefire.
