ISLAMABAD: The government and Taliban committees deadlock in talks persists, as neither of them make any contact with each other, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

A member of the Taliban committee Professor Ibrahim said that no contact has been made from his side with the government committee thus far.

Talking to Geo News, Professor Ibrahim said that neither of the committees has thus far made any contact with each other and, as such, an uneasy thaw persists. He said how things would move towards betterment he couldn’t say anything and added the peace process could make headway through talks.
