Security beefed up at Charsadda Jail

CHARSADDA: Security has been beefed up at the Charsadda Sub-Jail amid fears of militant attacks on the detention facility, Geo News reported.

According to the reports, 97 police and Frontier Corps personnel equipped with automatic weapons have been deployed for the security while Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) have also been called in.

The local administration has also made security arrangements at the government buildings near the prison.
