KARACHI: Rangers conducted a targeted operation in different areas of Karachi and held several suspected persons on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

According to the Rangers spokesman, search operation was kicked off after receiving a tip off about the presence of suspected persons in the areas including Orangi Town, Manghopir and MPR Colony.

Targeted raids were conducted and several suspects were apprehended during the action.

The security personnel sealed the entry and exit points of the areas.

At least 1,000 Rangers personnel including anti-terrorism wing commandos and female troops took part in the operation.
