2 injured in Bannu, Khyber Agency, NWA blasts

BANNU: Two men sustained injuries in separate blasts outside the houses of security personnel in Bannu and Khyber Agency, while another explosion occurred outside a school in North Waziristan on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

In Bannu, unidentified persons throwing a hand grenade outside the house of a police official, Rafiullah on D.I. Khan Road fled away. Rafiullah’s father was injured in the blast and was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital here.

Similarly, an explosion took place outside the house of a Khasadar Force Amjad Khan located at Keti de Bazar in Tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency partially damaging the main gate of the house.

A school at Sarai Darpakhel in North Waziristan was attacked with a hand grenade that injured one person and damaged the main gate of the school.
