AKORA KHATTAK: Maulana Yousuf Shah, coordinator of Taliban committee, on Wednesday expressed the hope that the militant organization will respond positively over suggestions sent by the panel representing them.

Speaking to Geo News on Wednesday, he said that the suggestions were sent to the Taliban and the committee hoped that they would soon respond.

“We are trying to end deadlock in talks between government and Taliban,” he said and added that the committee would continue its struggle for the success of the talks.

He said that the committee was also trying for a ceasefire.
