Islamabad: 7 alleged terrorists arrested, arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Police arrested seven alleged terrorists and seized arms during search operation in Tarlai, a suburb area of Islamabad, Geo News reported.

According to SSP Islamabad Dr Rizwan, the terrorists were detained from an under construction building after exchange of fire in Sodran area of Tarlai. He said 2-3 militants managed to escape.

Police also seized five hand grenades, two pistols and cartridges.

Police said terrorists are being investigated and that 4 out of 7 have been identified.
