KHARAN: Law enforcing agencies (LEAs) and some unidentified armed persons last night exchanged fire resulting in the death of one Levies personnel, while the shootout still continuing in Kharan district of Balochistan, Geo News reported.
Kharan SHO, Mohammad Yusuf told Geo News that the police and Levies on a tip-off raided a house located in the middle of the town on Gazai Road, but the armed persons started firing from the house, which the police and Levies retaliated. However, one Levies personnel, Umar Shah killed during the process.
Police and Levies have cordoned off the area, while the shootout with the armed persons continuing.
