LAHORE: Jamita Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Saturday observed that the government was showing non-seriousness in the name of dialogue but, at the same time, ruled out the resolution of issues through use of force.
In a statement issued here, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said circumstances would have shown improvement had the parliamentary and APC resolutions been put to action.
“The crisis would only keep aggravating, if the practice of taking foreign dictation was not put to an end,” he warned.
He vowed that no law that is against religious Madressas (seminaries) would be allowed to get approval.
The JUI-F Chief advised the government to strike out the provisions in Internal Security Policy in connection with the Madressa reforms.
