ISLAMABAD: Senator Mushahidullah Khan Monday observed that Sindh leaders had failed to learn any lesson in connection with the situation in Tharparkar.

In a statement, he said the people of Thar were dying of starvation, as the leaders of Sindh enjoyed big feasts.

He said Tharparkar’s issue is not famine but the supply of food and called for action against those responsible for the negligence in this regard. “It is negligence and the Sindh Government has admitted the same,” Mushahidullah Khan added.

He said only the CM Sindh should tender resignation but also the focal person representing the concerned department of the federal government.
