Tharparkar drought: one more child dies at Mithi Civil Hospital

MITHI: One more child died in Mithi, raising the death toll to 135 in three months in drought-hit Tarparkar, Geo News reported.

According to details, the child was admitted to Mithi Civil Hospital where he died on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, distribution of wheat among the affected families have been expedited, however, the relief activities were yet to be initiated in the outskirts of the desert district.

The distribution of ration among the people of rural areas was alarming as the relief work being carried out by the government and welfare organizations was limited to the city areas.
