Policemen escorting polio team killed in DI Khan

PESHAWAR: Two policemen part of the security escort for an anti-polio team were shot and killed during a firing incident in Dera Ismail Khan.

Police said the incident took place in Dera Town when terrorists opened fire on the policemen. The policemen were returning home after providing security for the anti-polio team.

The bodies of the deceased were shifted to the DHQ hospital while an investigation has been started by the police.
