ECC decides to purchase 8mn tonnes of wheat

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has decided to purchase 8 million tonnes of wheat from the farmers for the upcoming season, Geo News reported.

The meeting of ECC was held under the chair of Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar here on Tuesday.

The ECC also decided to lift ban on the import of precious stones and jewellery without gold.
