Attack leaves Geo News reporter injured in Tank

TANK: Geo News reporter Irfan Burki along with his son and a cameraman sustained wounds after unidentified armed men stormed his house and attacked the occupants on Tuesday.

A total of seven assailants laced with arms, sticks and daggers attacked Irfan Burki, his son and cameramen Fayaz Burki.

Irfan Burki suffered head injuries and one of his arms got fractured while his son suffered stab wounds on his stomach. The attack also left cameraman Fayaz Burki with a fractured arm.

After the tragic incident, journalists staged a protest in the area, demanding arrest of those involved in the crime.
