MIRANSHAH: A passing by security convoy narrowly escaped a remote control explosion on Sunday morning here, Geo News reported.

Sources said that some unknown persons had planted a remote control bomb at Miranshah-Dattakhel Road, which went off with a big bang, but missing the target as the security forces convoy on way from Miranshsh to Dattakhel had just passed by and fortunately no loss of life occurred.

Following the blast, North Waziristan Agency (NWA) has been put under an indefinite curfew since 6.00 A.M. this morning.
