LHC seeks list of defiant cops

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought a list of police officers who allegedly defy court orders.

LHC Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarked during the hearing of a case pertaining to flawed security at the court premises that the courts would not become hurdle in transparent police investigations.

He said that the violators of law would be brought to justice without any discrimination. The hearing was adjourned till May 6.
