17 killed as truck plunges into ravine in Chakwal

CHAKWAL: At least 17 people were killed and 48 others injured when a truck plunged into a ravine on Saturday, Geo News reported.

Police said that the incident took place in Modren Killa area when a truck fell into the ravine.

The police said that three children and four men were also among the dead. They said that bodies and injured were taken to a local hospital. Identities of the deceased were yet to be known.
