KARACHI: A major disaster was averted in the metropolis when a 13 kilogram bomb was recovered on Khalid bin Waleed Road in PECHC Block 6 area of the city.
Police said the bomb was recovered from near a residential building on Khalid bin Waleed Road.
Bomb disposal unit (BDU) said that the bomb was connected with the battery and mobile phone, which was immediately defused foiling a huge terror bid.
