No deadlock, Taliban-govt. talks today or tomorrow: Yusuf Shah

PESHAWAR: The intermediary Maulana Yusuf Shah Monday denying any deadlock in talks said that the Taliban committee would meet the government committee Monday or Tuesday, Geo News reported.

Talking to Geo News, Maulana Yusuf Shah said that the meeting with the government would be taking up some very important matters including the release of prisoners.

He said that when some people were talking about deadlock, we remained in contact with each other. He further said besides the government committee, he was in contact with the Taliban also.
