ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet will meet in Islamabad today (Friday) to discuss overall security situation in the country.

The Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, would chair the meeting.

According to the sources, the federal cabinet is likely to be taken into confidence over the issues pertaining to peace process with the Taliban.

The sources said the cabinet is also likely to approve Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for importing electricity from Iran. It would also likely to approve the draft of Cyber Crime Bill, they added.
