Dacoit killed in alleged police encounter

LAHORE: A dacoit was killed and another managed to escape after alleged police encounter, Geo News reported.

Police said they signaled two suspects, riding on motorcycle, to stop near Mozang Adda bus stop, however, the accused opened fire on the police, injuring constable Faisal.

Police, in retaliation, killed one dacoit. The other managed to escape.
