ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Monday submitted an adjournment motion in the Senate secretariat relating to recent police torture on the missing persons’ relatives, while they were staging a peaceful sit-in at D-Chowk here, Geo News reported.

Senators Aitzaz Ahsan, Raza Rabbani, Haji Adeel, Afrasiab Khattak, Robina Khalid and Sughra Imam submitted the adjournment motion, senate secretariat sources said.

The motion, terming the police torture on the relatives of the missing persons staging peaceful sit-in state terrorism, demanded the matter be discussed and debated in the House.
