Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi receives threat

NEW DELHI: The Pakistan High Commission has sought additional security after receiving a threat letter.

According to Indian media reports, Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner met senior officials at the India’s External Affairs Ministry to inform them about a threat letter which the embassy received some days ago.

Pakistan has also demanded of the Indian government to investigate the matter. It conveyed to India diplomatically that it was New Delhi’s responsibility to ensure the security of Pakistan High Commission and all its diplomats and other staff.

Meanwhile, Indian authorities said that they provide maximum possible security to all missions and same is the case with Pakistan.
