Prof. Ibrahim condemns attack on Hamid Mir

PESHAWAR: Member Taliban negotiating committee, Professor Ibrahim has condemned attack on Hamid Mir and attempt to shut down Geo News.

Talking to media at Markz-e-Islami Peshawar, Professor Ibrahim said the judicial committee, formed to probe attack on Mir, should conduct investigation into attack independently and whoever is involved should be brought to justice.

Professor Ibrahim, who is Jamaat-e-Islami leader, said any TV channel should not be closed down and PEMRA should consider it.

Commenting on Taliban peace talks, he said the dialogue process has not yet ended, however, the process was facing some hurdles due to lack of confidence from both sides.
