Karachi: Navy official killed in firing near Karsaz

KARACHI: A Navy official lost his life when unidentified gunmen opened fire on his car near Karsaz area of Karachi on Monday, Geo News reported.

According to details, unknown armed attackers on motorcycles opened fire on a car near Karsaz shooting and injuring Ghullam Akbar over resisting a robbery attempt. He worked for Pakistan Navy, sources added.

Ghullam Akbar was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where he could not survive and succumbed to his injuries.

Police have taken a motorcycle and a pistol in custody from the incident site.
