KABUL: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will leave for Afghanistan on Monday to attend the tripartite meeting scheduled in Kabul.
An Afghan defence ministry spokesperson said that Pakistan, Afghanistan and ISAF tripartite talks will begin tomorrow (Monday) in which Pakistan will be represented by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, while the officials of the allied forces and the Afghan defence minister will also be attend the meeting.
This is the 37th round of such meetings being held at a time when the situation on the Afghan and Pakistan borders is tense, due to firing incidents.
