I am not desperate for captaincy: Afridi

LAHORE: Star all rounder Shahid Afridi has admitted to his desire to captain the Pakistan team but is not desperate for it.

Talking to the media he said that Pakistan’s captaincy is not a bed of roses, but certainly an honor.

He spoke highly about the summer camp, saying that it would help the players and himself to get ready for the upcoming matches. He also said that he was absolutely fit and thoroughly enjoying the summer camp.

Replying to a question about relations with India, he said that both sides will have work together for better results and politics should be kept away from sports.
