Police kill two suspects in Lyari encounter

KARACHI: Two suspected gangsters were killed during a police raid in Lyari on Saturday, Geo News reported.

Senior police official SSP City Sheraz Nazeer said the police conducted a raid in Kalri area of Lyari on a tip off about the presence of some gangsters.

He added that the suspects opened fire on police and were killed as the law enforcers returned fire.

The SSP said that arms and hand grenades were recovered from the possession of the suspects.
