ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to lodge a murder case against former CIA Station for the death of civilians in a 2009 drone strike.
The IHC judge, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui heard the petition filed by a citizen, Karim Khan.
The petitioner prayed that his innocent brother and son were killed in the 2009 drone attack in Mir Ali. He said he had submitted a plea in the Secretariat police station for action, however, it went unheeded.
The court ordered the Secretariat police to lodge a case against former station chief of CIA over killing of Karim’s son and brother in the drone attack.
