COAS puts off Sri Lanka visit amid NWA operation

RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif has postponed his scheduled visit to Sri Lanka against the backdrop of the ongoing military operation in North Waziristan Agency along the Afghan border.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif was to leave for a four-day visit to Sri Lanka today.
