Peshawar police search operation, several suspects held at Hyatabad

PESHAWAR: Several suspects including a few high profile targets were arrested during door-to-door search operation underway by the police in the Hayatabad posh area here, Geo News reported on Sunday morning.

Sources said the police started door-to-door search operation in the wee hours today (Sunday) by cordoning off Phases 5, 6 and 7 of Hayatabad posh area on the information the some suspected persons from among the North Waziristan evacuees have take refuge in these areas.

A strong contingent of police including 700 female policemen are seen busy in checking the identity cards and other particulars of the residents in the area to flush out the suspected persons and the police by this time have made some arrests that include a few high profile targets.
