ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to visit IDP camps. The PTI chairman declined the invitation on account of prior political commitments.
According to details the prime minister had invited Imran Khan to visit IDP camps of those displaced from their homes due to the ongoing military operation in North Waziristan. Prime Minister Nawaz had asked Imran Khan to visit the IDP camps with him and take care of the affected.
The PTI chairman had a rally scheduled in Bahawalpur and declined the prime minister’s invitation. Imran Khan has directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chied Minister Pervaiz Khattak to visit the IDP camp in Bannu with the prime minister.
Meanwhile, the prime minister is expected to visit the IDP camps on Friday.
