Several airlines cancel their flights to Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Several foreign airlines have cancelled their flights to Bacha Khan International Airport here for security reasons.

Airport sources said that Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Peshawar scheduled to arrive at 2:45 AM and Emirates flight from Dubai to Peshawar to arrive at 7:00 AM were cancelled.

Similarly, Saudi Airlines flight from Riyadh to Peshawar will now instead of Peshawar arrive in Islamabad at 12:30 PM due to which Peshawar-Riyadh Saudi flight has also been cancelled, while 300 passengers of the flight will now board the plane from Islamabad.

Airport sources further said that Air Arabia flight from Sharjah has arrived in Peshawar at 10:00 AM this morning, while PIA flight from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar will arrive at 4:45 PM
