Lahore: Two bodies in gunny bags found from Liaquatabad

LAHORE: Two bodies bearing torture marks were recovered from gunny sacks in Liaquatabad area of Lahore on Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to police, the tortured bodies of two men with hands tied behind their back and were found from Model Town area today morning. The deceased were stabbed to death with a sharp object while their faces were wrapped with plastic bags, police told.

The bodies were spotted by the locals of the area that were later shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The identities of the victims could not be ascertained yet.

The deceased were aged between 30 and 35, police added.

After the recovery of the bodies, police started investigating the matter, taking into account various possible aspects. Fear gripped the locals after the tortured corpses were discovered by them.
