RAJANPUR: The bombs planted on the railway track here and on the roadside in Hangu were defused by the Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU), foiling terror bid, Geo News reported on Monday morning.

Police said that the BDU defused the bomb weighing 15-kilogram bomb with remote control device found on the railway track near Fazilpur here was timely defused before it could cause any damage to Karachi bound Khushhal Khan Khattak Express, which was scheduled to pass through the track just after half hour and was quickly detained at Jampur. Police cordoning off the area have started search operation

On the other hand, a 5-kilogram bomb planted on the roadside in Hangu was also defused foiling terror bid.
