LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday remanded Gullu Butt in police custody for six days for indulging in vandalism during Model Town episode which saw many people killed in clashes between Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers and police.

Butt was presented before the ATC by Faisal Town police. The police told the court that terrorism acts had been added in the FIR against Gullu Butt and they need to interrogate the accused as to whose ordered he damaged the vehicles.

The police pleaded Gullu Butt be handed over to police on physical remand. The judge approved the police argument and remanded the accused.
