Four cops killed in Peshawar attacks

PESHAWAR: Five people including four policemen were killed in two different attacks in Peshawar on Friday.

The attacks were carried out at Iftar and Sehr timings. Four people including three policemen were killed on Ring Road when armed men riding a car opened fire.


Earlier, a policeman was killed and three others injured when a police van was targeted with a remote controlled bomb.

Police IG Nasir Durrani said that the ongoing attacks on police are reaction of the military operation in North Waziristan.
