ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says the decision to bring the Army in Islamabad was taken on the same day it was decided to launch operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Addressing a press conference Nisar clarified that the army was not being called to stop a political march in the capital.

Criticizing those opposing the decision, Nisar said the country was in a state of war and every issue should not be politicized. The interior minister also shared that the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) has not sought permission to hold a rally in Islamabad, as yet.
