Army Chief Raheel Sharif leaves for Australia on 4-day official visit

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif Monday left for Australia on a four-day official visit, Geo News reported.

Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) said that the Army Chief is going to Australia on special invitation of Australian Chief of Defence Force, the statement stated.

The COAS during his official visit will preside over a round table discussion relating to security and defence besides, the Army Chief will also meet Australian senior military and defence leaderships, said the ISPR handout.
