KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday urged the politicians to resolve their difference in an amicable manner.

Addressing the MQM’s parliamentary committee via telephone from London, Altaf Hussain observed that climate of every part of the country is bustling with political activity called upon the political leadership to settle matters through reaching an understanding.

He said today the government representatives are talking against the politics of sit-ins and agitations but these rulers did the same in past when they were in opposition.

Altaf Hussain condemned the ‘killing of women and children’ in Lahore’s Model Town tragedy.

The MQM Chief urged the cable operators to restore transmission of all the channels. “Forgive and forget and restore transmission of all the TV channels,” he said.
