ISLAMABAD: Expressing his concerns about terrorism, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that according to security agencies two suicide bombers have penetrated into Islamabad, Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference here Saturday, Nisar Ali Khan said a security shield has been formed around the rallies, adding that 30,000 personnel have been deployed for the security of both sit-ins.

Nisar said the government allocated venues for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) rallies on the request of political parties. He said both PTI and PAT have assured that they would not enter red zone area.

He said providing protection to red zone and diplomatic enclave was responsibility of the government.

Government will not interfere political or democratic activities, Nisar assured.
