BAJAUR AGENCY: Six persons including three female teachers, two children and a driver were killed in an improvised electronic device IED) blast at Tangi in Tehsil Salarzai on Tuesday here, Geo News reported.

Official sources said that it was a remote controlled bomb planted beside the road, which went off and hit a passing by car on way to school resulting in on the spot death of two female teachers, a child and a driver, while one female teacher, a child and a passer-by wounded succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital taking the toll to 6 in the incident at Tangi here.

Following the explosion, security and Levies forces cordoning off the area started search operation.
