Six criminals killed in alleged police encounter

KARACHI: Six criminals were killed in an alleged police encounter near the Sohrab Goth, Super Highway area.

According to sources, police raided a sugar cane warehouse on intelligence reports about the presence of over a dozen wanted criminals. The criminals opened fire on the raiding police party, which responded befittingly killing six criminals on the spot.

The criminals according to police officials were involved in looting buses and trucks laden with consumer goods.
