LAHORE: Talks to discuss disputed issues under the Indus Water treaty have failed between Pakistan and India.

The water commissioner level talks failed to yield any results on the third day as India failed to budge on its design of the Kishanganga Dam. India also refused to halt construction of dams on the Chenab River.

Pakistan has expressed serious concern over the construction of the Kishanganga and other damns terming this to be a clear violation of the Indus Water treaty.

Pakistan will now take its case to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
