Hashmi clarfies, no differences with party leadership

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Friday clarified that he has no differences with his party leadership adding that all decisions were taken after consultations.

Addressing a press conference from his residence in Multan the PTI President said the decision of Imran Khan’s meeting with the Chief of Army Staff was taken after consultation with him. Hashmi said it was incorrectly being reported in the media that he was in disagreement with the party leadership.

Hashmi said he has to travel to China for treatment in the coming days and therefore he came to Multan to spend some time with his children.

Regarding his statements reported in the press, he clarified that as a senior politician he had commented that it would have been better if politicians resolved their differences without turning to the military for help, further adding that it was merely a comment he made during an interview.

Stressing again that party decisions were made after consultations he added that he was by Imran Khan’s side till 2AM last night and was happy that matters were moving towards a resolution without any bloodshed.
