NEW DELHI: Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi Sunday offered assistance to Pakistan in the wake of widespread devastation caused by the floods in many parts of the country.
In a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Indian premier made the offer to provide humanitarian help for the people affected by the floods.
Modi said in his letter that large regions in both the countries have been devastated by the floods and his sympathies are with the affectees.
The Indian PM made the offer of assistance to Pakistan during his visit to the flood-stricken areas of held Kashmir today.
He said a letter, in this regard, has also been dispatched to PM Nawaz Sharif.
